Northern Hamilton County:

The new snow tubing attraction (photo) Koteewi Run Seasonal Slopes opened in December at Strawtown Koteewi Park just west of SR 37 on Strawtown Avenue. Sheridan is celebrating the opening of several new businesses, including Animal Artistry Pet Grooming at 414 S. Main Street and Hawk Self Storage at 521 W. 7th Street.

Carmel:

The City unveiled renderings and the name of the new hotel planned for City Center. It will be called The Carmichael, a mashup of Carmel and Michael Feinstein, artistic director of the adjacent Center for the performing Ars, who will operate a supper club at the hotel.

A Which Wich restaurant is opening at 4335 W. 106th Street. A new Aldi grocery store is slated for construction on the southwest corner of Michigan Road and 106th Street. Vegas Nails & Spa is also planning a new location at 11036 N. Michigan Road.

RevolutionEYES underwent a complete remodel last fall, adding a custom design center to its eye practice at 14250 Clay Terrace Boulevard.

Mobile app developer FatStax LLC at 101 W. 103rd Street is expanding its Carmel office and workforce. Indie Asset Partners is renovating new office space at 10585 N. Meridian Street. MassageLuxe opened its doors in November in The Bridges development at 11529 Spring Mill Road.

Bellacino’s Pizza & Grinders at 12590 N. Meridian Street closed in November after 16 years. Mid America Clinical Laboratories is renovating new office space at 13420 N. Meridian Street.

Indiana Artisan StoreA Dog Bakery at 816 W. Main Street is operating under new ownership. Invesque, Inc. is moving into the Monon & Main development at 211 W. Main Street. The popular French Lick gallery (photo)  Indiana Artisan opened a second location in November in Carmel’s 111 W. Main Street building. A new specialty bakery dubbed No Label at the Table is also moving into the building.

Aptean is remodeling 5,000 SF of office space at 645 W. Carmel Drive. Work Here LLC is investing in its Carmel headquarters at 615 W. Carmel Drive. Carmel Auto Gallery is setting up operations at 488 Gradle Drive. The 2-acre parking area west of the Meijer at 124 W. Carmel Drive is slated for a new multi-tenant retail development. 

The Cake Bake Shop, a bakery and cafe based in Broad Ripple, is opening a second location at Carmel City Center in the yet-to-be-finished Baldwin building. Magic Thread Cabaret has signed on as a resident company of The Cat, the 120 seat theater on 1st Ave.

In Search of Technology LLC is growing, establishing new headquarters in Carmel. Innovative Health Solutions is also planning to set up new corporate headquarters in Carmel in 2018. Pi Lab LLC is expanding its Carmel operation and adding almost 50 employees by the end of the year.

Rodizio Grill at 2375 E. 116th Street closed in December after being open less than a year, but a new franchisee may reopen the location in 2018. Starbucks is expanding its current footprint at 2810 E. 116th Street. A new breakfast spot called Rad’s is serving east Carmel at 4733 126th Street. Diverse Net is opening an office at 3105 E. 98th Street.

Fishers:

(photo) The new Fairfield Inn & Suites is open at the intersection of Crosspoint Blvd and 106th St., just off the I-69 Exit. 

Tridian Medical at 9901 Kincaid Drive is drawing down operations this year and will close entirely by the end of September. BrainForest Centers, which opened its Fishers office at 9748 Lantern Road last year, is growing with a $7.4M capital investment. Complete Structural Consulting is expanding its office at 9880 Westpointe Drive.

The City of Fishers' new DPW Facility is under construction at 10200 Eller Road. Herzler Ocular Prosthetics is opening an office at 10173 Allisonville Road. Heady Hollow Brewing Company ceased operations last fall at 11069 Allisonville Road, but MashCraft Brewing is taking over the facility this year. 

Travel Leaders is opening an office at 10290 E. 96th Street. Huntington Learning Center is opening its second Hamilton County location, this time at 9665 Olio Road. Popular downtown Indy spot Pearl Street Pizzeria & Pub is opening a second location this spring near Geist at 10562 Olio Road.

After closing its location at The Depot at Nickel Plate in November, Brixx Wood Fired Pizza will reopen in February under new ownership. Shine Design also opened in the center in early October. Yoga studio Hotworx is opening at 8235 E. 116th Street.

Magnolia Bank is opening a branch at 8700 North Street. Vibenomics is also opening a new office in the building, with plans to hire more than 200 employees in the next two years. The new Yard at Fishers District is lining up tenants to fill more than two dozen openings at the 17-acre development, including restaurants Burger Study and 1933 Lounge, which are slated to open in 2019.

Security technology firm 3xLogic Inc. in expanding its Fishers office at 9882 E. 121st Street. Engineering firm Clark Solutions at 9100 Fall View Drive is also growing its workforce and services. Knowledge Services is building its new headquarters on an 18-acre site just south of Navient’s offices on Exit 5 Parkway. Gateway One, a vacant 193,000 SF building at 10300 Kincaid Drive, was purchased by an investment group in October.

Ag-tech start-up Aggressively Organic Inc., which got its start at Launch Fishers, is expanding with plans to create 200 jobs in the next four years. Media company Tegna has moved into space at 12115 Visionary Space. Chicago-based Ed Napleton Automotive Group has purchased most of the Butler Automotive central Indiana locations, including the renamed Napleton Kia of Fishers at 13417 Britton Park Road.

A 19-acre site near 126th Street and Hoosier Road has been chosen for the development of a new assisted living facility to be called Lake Meadows. In December, Hamilton Southeastern Schools broke ground on the new Southeastern Elementary School at 12500 Cyntheanne Road.

Noblesville:

(photo) Universal Blower Pac is expanding its operations at 440 Park 32 W Drive. Your Mom’s Grill and Bar is opening at 151 S. Harbour Drive. OutHouse Coworking is opening this winter at 540 Westfield Road, where it will also serve as a showroom for Jennings Commercial Interiors. The Indiana Transportation Museum will no longer call Forest Park home once its lease is up in March.

5 Star Imports is renovating space at 1150 South Street. Rebellion Donuts is coming to Noblesville, opening shop at 17677 Cumberland Road. The Hamilton County Jail at 18100 Cumberland Road is growing by more than 40,000 SF.

Get Fresh Produce is upgrading an existing building at 9210 E. 146th Street so that it can move services from its current Indy transfer hub to a better, full-service distribution facility.

In December, the city broke ground on the 130,000 SF Finch Creek Fieldhouse at the developing 203-acre Finch Creek Park on Boden Road. Nails & Lounge is now open at the Shoppes at Saxony Marketplace at 12831 Campus Parkway. Noblesville Imports is adding more space for auto repair and detailing at 12226 Greenfield Avenue.

Westfield:

Pro X Athlete Development is operating out of a temporary facility at 733 E. Main Street until its new 65,000 SF multi-sport training facility opens in September just west of Grand Park Events Center on 191st Street. A new 97,000 SF SpringHill Suites hotel is planned for the corner of 191st Street and US 31.

A new Starbucks Coffee is slated to open at 17542 Oak Ridge Road. Tucker Automotive Group is renovating almost 17,000 SF at 17414 Tiller Court. Southern Indiana restaurant chain Big Woods is building its first Hamilton County location on the southwest corner of SR 32 and US 31. 

(photo) Carpenter Realtors is renovating office space at 140 S. Cherry Street. Westfield Washington Schools begins major renovations and additions at Westfield Intermediate School and Westfield Middle School in April. Expansion work on Westfield High School begins in September.

The GNC store that recently closed in Westfield Market Place at 17427 Carey Road is reopening soon as a barber shop.

Northern Hamilton County:

Sheridan’s newest restaurant, Young’s Kitchen, celebrated its grand opening in September at 305 S. Main Street. The Hamilton North Public Library (photo) branch at 100 S. Walnut Street in Atlanta is undergoing a complete remodel, as is the branch at 209 W. Brinton Street in Cicero.

Cicero-based Indiana Recovery Services is expanding with a new garage and office space at 22275 N US 31. Omega International Auto Repair is also growing, adding new buildings to its property at 2130 E. 226th Street.

Carmel:

A 5-story office building at 250 W. 96th Street is undergoing renovation for the new St. Vincent Health Administration Office. A new eco-friendly trash bin cleaning company called Bin Cleanse is now serving Carmel and surrounding areas.

CleanSlate Technology Group is doubling the size of its facility at 2071 Broughton Street in the Village of West Clay. Village Center Shoppes continues to expand with the construction of a 2-story office building at 12735 Meeting House Road.

Technicolor, formerly Thomson Consumer Electronics, is closing its facility at 101 W. 103rd Street and shifting jobs to Georgia as part of a consolidation. KAR Auction Services is breaking ground on a new 250,000 SF global headquarters at Illinois & 111th streets, with plans to move in by the end of 2019.

Pulte Homes is moving into 11590 N. Meridian Street after the recent relocation of Blue Horseshoe to new, larger offices elsewhere in Carmel. Aflac and Paycor are both opening new offices at 11595 N. Meridian Street. Massage Heights recently opened at 1438 W. Main Street.

Purple Ink LLC, an HR consulting firm that specializes in customized human resources services, opened in Carmel City Center.

The new 174,000 SF Merchants Corporate Center is slated for construction at 4th Street SW & 3rd Avenue SW. The Monon & Main development will include Anthony’s Chophouse & 3UP at 21 W. Main Street. (photo) Art on Main Gallery & Gifts held its grand opening in September at 111 W. Main Street.

Next summer, Indianapolis-based MJ Insurance is moving to a new building at 571 Monon Boulevard, but is currently working out of a temporary office at 4745 North Haven Point Boulevard. A popular Broad Ripple bakery, the Cake Bake Shop, is opening a second location in Carmel City Center next fall when the Baldwin Building is completed.

National Bank of Indianapolis is establishing an office at 801 Congressional Boulevard for use in the event of a disaster at the current corporate office. Caliente Restaurant is expanding its footprint at 1400 S. Guilford Road.

Fishers:

Riviera Maya Mexican Cuisine is opening a second Fishers location in the building at 9770 Crosspoint Boulevard that once housed Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Cafe Korea is moving from its current location at 116th & Allisonville to a new space at 11003 Allisonville Road (photo). A new Goodwill retail store is open at 7440 Fishers Station Drive. Noble Roman’s Craft Pizza & Pub is opening a location at 11715 Allisonville Road. In October, 5280 Bistro celebrated its grand opening at 11850 Allisonville Road.

Audio marketing tech firm Fuzic, headquartered at 8766 South Street, has changed its name to Vibenomics. Downtown staple Archers Meats and Catering closed in September, and its building at 8655 E. 116th Street was sold to developer Corby Thompson for redevelopment as a retail center. Another Broken Egg Café opened a second location in the Nickel Plate District; the first opened four years ago at 96th and Meridian.

Vital Connection Chiropractic is moving into a new medical office building at 12242 E. 116th Street. The Stations, a new development totaling 13,650 SF, is slated for construction just west of Kroger at 116th Street and Lynn Drive. Tequila Sunrise Mexican Cuisine opened in the Fishers Station shopping center at 116th and Allisonville.

Tech support company Netfor is doubling its office space with a newly-renovated 17,500 SF office in Fishers Tech Park. Hamilton County Public Safety Communications is converting the former Ryan Fire Protection facility at 12933 Ford Drive into a backup 911 facility.

Elevator engineering company Thyssenkrupp is remodeling over 37,000 SF for operations at 11924-11936 Exit 5 Parkway. Indiana’s first virtual reality arcade, Altered Realities VR Arcade, is coming to Fishers in December at 10080 E. 121st Street. The Woods of Britton apartment complex is renovating after a fire in August damaged ten units at 12851 Canopy Lane.

Over 9,300 SF of new retail space is under construction at Geist Point at 10395 Olio Road. Century 21 Scheetz is opening a new office at 116th Street and Olio Road. A new Starbucks is going in at 13701 E. 116th Street. Village Dental at Saxony is building a new 18,000 SF facility at 13390 Overview Drive. Indiana Members Credit Union (photo) opened a new branch in Saxony at the corner of 131st St. and Olio Rd. Tom Roush Lincoln is remodeling its facility at 13927 Trade Center Drive.

In September, Sylvan Learning Center held grand openings for two new centers in Hamilton County, in Fishers at 11740 Brooks School Road and in Carmel at 1400 S. Guilford Road. The new Geist Community Center is under construction east of Olio Road on 96th Street, and will eventually include both a youth community center and a mosque.

Noblesville:

Indiana University Health’s first urgent care center in Hamilton County opened in August at 14645 Hazel Dell Parkway. A new Sports Clip franchise corporate office is opening at 5520 Pebble Village Lane. Bowl 32 at 845 Westfield Road has been rebranded Three-Two-Fun and will wrap up its renovation and 7,800 SF addition by mid-December.

Trends for Tails, a resale boutique benefitting the Humane Society of Hamilton County, opened in November at 1109 S. 10th Street. Bash Boutique (photo) has chosen downtown Noblesville for its third store, now open at 884 Logan Street. Horizon Bank is also moving downtown to the historic building at 44 S. 8th Street.

Indy Prep is moving into 1706 Pleasant Street. The new DentalWorks office is up and running at 17535 Terry Lee Crossing. Hood’s Garden is building a new 9,000 SF warehouse on its campus at 11644 Greenfield Avenue. A Martinizing Dry Cleaning location has opened at 14350 Mundy Drive.

Life Refined Chiropractic is opening in January at 14297 Bergen Boulevard. Bank of America is opening a new banking center at 12873 Campus Parkway. Klipsch Music Center at 12880 E. 146th Street has been renamed Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center.

Westfield:

Hoosier Storage continues to expand with a new 7,800 SF building at 17749 Sun Park Drive. The Downtown Westfield Association (photo) has moved into its new home at 120 Camilla Court. Greeks Pizzeria is moving down the street to a larger space at 231 Park Street. Co-working space the Union is closing its doors after two years of operation downtown.

Marco’s Pizza is planning a new restaurant at 16072 Spring Mill Station Drive. The former restaurant space in the Jonathan Byrd Fieldhouse at Grand Park has been transformed into an e-sports gaming center dubbed Game On. A 300-acre mixed use real estate development known as NorthPoint is slated for construction on the southeast corner of US 31 & SR 38. Carmel-based Bastian Solutions has plans to build a 90,000 SF facility in the NorthPoint development. The Village Park Plaza redevelopment at 2222 E. 146th Street will include almost 13,000 SF of shell space.

Roundabout - October/November 2017

Northern Hamilton County:

Lawson Companies is now operating three businesses under one roof at 24260 SR 37 near Strawtown: Good Ole Days Antiques, Rusty Roof Music Store, and Lawson Flooring. A new Ricker’s gas station and convenience store is going in just north of Perkinsville at the intersection of SR 37 & SR 13.

Cicero Fun Factory, located at 50 W. Buckeye Street in Cicero, is undergoing a full renovation and update. Select Show Horses northeast of Sheridan at 25109 Six Points Road is expanding and adding a new 8,000 SF stable.

Carmel:

Michigan Road Self Storage is going in just northwest of 96th Street & Michigan Road and will offer 96,000 SF of storage space.

Village Center Shoppes in West Clay is growing, adding a new 3-story office building at 12805 New Market Street. Smiles in the Village is moving down the street into a newly constructed building at 12740 Horseferry Road. Danny Boy Brewery in the Tank 13 building added artisanal spirits to it offerings with the addition of Danny Boy Distilling Works. 

Five Seasons Family Sports Club at 1300 E. 96th Street has closed. IU Health Dermatology Clinic is joining other healthcare providers at 11590 N. Meridian Street. Assembly Biosciences is expanding its footprint at 11711 N. Meridian Street. A former dance studio at 12955 Old Meridian Street is the new home of physical rehabilitation business Team Rehab. 

Clay Terrace Shopping Center is undergoing several changes. This fall, a new fitness center dubbed [solidcore] opens at 14390 Clay Terrace Boulevard. Clothing store Forever 21 Red will open in late 2017. Over the summer, Home Couture opened at 14511 Clay Terrace Boulevard and Ted’s Montana Grill closed. T-shirt retailer The Shop opened in September in the former Moochie & Co. space. Other new additions include Closet Candy Boutique and Fidelity Investments.

Burgerhaus (photo) is opening a new location at 89 1st Avenue SW. In September, the Russian School began holding classes at Carmel High School on East Main Street after relocating services from University High School.

The Arts & Design District recently lost several of galleries, including French Bleu Gallery at 111 W. Main Street and the Martin Gallery of Fine Art, which was located in the Indiana Design Center.

The national headquarters for Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity relocated in August from Pennsylvania to 716 Adams Street. Indigo Bioautomation is moving into new construction at 385 City Center Drive. Carmel is getting its own Books & Brews location in November at 61 W. City Center Drive. Silver Door Boutique Spa in Carmel City Center has new owners.

Collegiate fraternity Zeta Tau Alpha is relocating its headquarters from Indianapolis to 1036 S. Range Line Road before the end of the year. Workplace Health Services has moved into 99 E. Carmel Drive.

Fishers:

Gratitude Boutique & Gifts is opening at the former Salon Krelic space at 8912 E. 96th Street. Strategic Wealth Designers has moved into its new space at 9850 Westpoint Drive. Della Leva Espresso Bar (photo) is moving into a new strip center at 8220 E. 106th Street.

High Class Glass recently opened at 7227 Fishers Landing Drive. Planet Fitness has a new location at 11728 Fishers Crossing Drive in the former Sears building.

The former Yogurtz Frozen Yogurt location downtown at 8594 E. 116th is being transformed into the second Hamilton County location for Hawaiian restaurant Main Street Poké. The same building is also now home to tech retailer Ultimate Home Automation. Indiana’s first Brightway Insurance agency, the Phung Agency, opened in July at 8756 E. 116th Street. Technology Interiors is now operating out of its second Fishers location at 8977 E. 116th Street.

Indiana’s first IKEA officially opens October 11 just off I-69’s Exit 205. MainSource Financial Group is merging with First Financial Bancorp, which operates bank locations in Fishers and in Carmel.

A new long-term care facility for Alzheimer and dementia patients, dubbed Grand Brook Memory Care of Fishers, is slated for construction at 131st Street and Cumberland Drive. Life Connections Church is undergoing a major expansion on its campus at 11616 E. 126th Street.

The Stations, a new development just west of Kroger at 116th Street and Lynn Drive, will eventually add almost 14,000 SF of retail and office space to this growing corridor. State of Grace Boutique opened in September at 11679 Olio Road.

Hamilton Southeastern Schools is building a new K-4 elementary school at Cyntheanne Road and 126th Street that will open for the 2019-2020 school year. The HSE Schools Administration building at 13485 Cumberland Road is also getting a 22,000 SF addition.

A 40-acre property near Olio Road and Southeastern Parkway, which is owned by Republic Development, will soon be home to a 500,000 SF sports facility with indoor fields and running track. Plans also include eleven retail outlots and a new hotel.

Noblesville:

Bru Burger LocationThis spring, the newest Bru Burger (photo) location will open in the first floor of the BlueSky Technology Partners building at 123 John Street.

The new 17,000 SF St. Vincent Neighborhood Hospital opened at 9460 E. 146th Street in July. A 107,000 SF residential care facility dubbed Heritage Woods of Noblesville is slated for construction just down the road at 9600 E. 146th Street.

Abrasive Waterjet of Indiana is remodeling a new space at 15515 Stoney Creek Way.

Westfield:

A 5.3-acre site at 632 E. SR 32 will soon sport a 36-hole miniature golf course, restaurant, and event space as part of a new entertainment venture called Birdies. Epiphany Evangelical Lutheran Church at 15605 Ditch Road is growing, adding another 8,100 SF to its building.

Downtown is getting a new gastropub, Field Brewing, which is moving into 303 E. Main Street. Westfield Chamber of Commerce has settled into its new offices at 116 E. Main Street. A new multitenant retail center dubbed Grassy Branch Marketplace is going up at SR 32 and Grassy Branch Road.

Crossfit Westfield opened in August at 16707 Southpark Drive. Down the street, a new 18,500 SF office building is under construction at 16462 South Park Drive.

Next spring, construction starts on Spring Mill Grand Station just north of 161st Street on Spring Mill Road. This project features a 15,500 SF retail building, a 7,900 SF office building, and 46,000 SF of self-storage space. Just southwest of 161st & Spring Mill is a new development called the Depot at Spring Mill Station. This will eventually include several retail and office buildings, a restaurant, a bank, and a grocery store.

Indy Fork & Ale Taphouse is planning to open in the renovated and reconfigured Regal Cinemas building at 2222 E. 146th Street. Sweet M’s Boutique has opened its third central Indiana location in Cool Creek Commons at 2446 E. 146th Street.

Roundabout - August/September 2017

Northern Hamilton County:

Hamilton Heights High School is adding a greenhouse to its campus in Arcadia. Dura Products has plans to build a new 23,000 SF facility just west of Arcadia at 6660 E 266th Street. Orange Youth Baseball has opened the newly-renovated Orange Park at 795 S. Central Street in Atlanta.

Lazy Frogg Restaurant & Bar on Morse Reservoir in Cicero has closed. Seven Sisters Florist is opening a new guest cottage at 129 N. Peru Street in Cicero dubbed UpDown Town.

A 27,000 SF Hawk Self Storage facility is slated for construction in Sheridan at Hamilton Avenue and 7th Street. Sheridan-based Miller Lumberworks recently began producing handcrafted wood furniture and décor.

Carmel:

The 18,000 SF Shoppes at Weston Pointe are slated for construction at 10801 N. Michigan Road and will include both restaurant and retail space. Greek’s Pizza is opening a new restaurant at 9613 N. College Avenue.

Allegion (photo) is expanding its campus to include the 15,400 SF building to its south at 11805 N. Pennsylvania Street. Coalition Pizza + Wine has closed at 365 W. 116th Street. The salon Bellisimo at 12545 Old Meridian Street is under new ownership and has been rebranded as Society of Beauty.

Greyhound Nails opened this spring at 14550 Clay Terrace Boulevard. Pressure washing company Sparkle Wash Central Indiana recently opened at 13662 Thistlewood Drive East. AAA is opening a new office at the Meridian & Main development at 1438 W. Main Street.

Mamma Mia Gelateria is moving to a new space at 836 W. Main Street. Sub Zero Ice Cream has moved into 111 W. Main Street, the former location of Auntie Em’s Frozen Custard & Cupcakes. Indie Coffee Roasters is opening a coffee shop at 220 E. Main Street.

A new theatre dubbed The Cat (photo) has opened in the space once occupied by The Warehouse at 254 First Avenue SW in the Arts & Design District. Software Engineering Professional, Inc. is expanding its offices at 3 Center Green. Old Spaghetti Factory is opening in the former Shapiro’s space at 918 S. Range Line Road.

Midwest Academy at 1420 Chase Court is growing with a 1,200 SF addition. Renewal by Anderson is moving into 801 Congressional Boulevard. Kitchen Master celebrated its grand re-opening in July at 200 W. Carmel Drive. 3-D printing company Snapped 3D (photo) recently opened at 126 W. Carmel Drive.

Carmel Comprehensive Dental Care has moved from 13590 N. Meridian Street to 200 Medical Drive and has changed its name to Smile Arts Dental. The Marsh Supermarket in Merchants Square at 2140 E. 116th Street has closed. Sylvan Learning Center is opening a location at 1400 S. Guilford Road. Pet Value has opened a second Carmel store at 1356 S. Range Line Road. O’Malia’s supermarket at 4755 E. 126th Street has closed.

Fishers:

The Marsh store at 8766 E. 96th Street has closed. Heartland Church is undergoing a complete renovation of its 9,000 SF Adventureland Childcare center at 9665 Hague Road. Fishers Public Works is building a new parking garage by the Water Treatment Plant at 10210 Eller Road.

At the end of the summer, A Total Tan will be moving from its current location at 7454 Fishers Station Drive to its new space just down the street at 11740 Allisonville Road. Little Caesars Pizza is rebuilding at 11780 Allisonville Road after their Fishers Station location was demolished earlier this year.

Complete Dental Care (photo) of Fishers has moved into its new office at 11479 Lantern Road. Shine Design Home is moving into the Depot at Nickel Plate at 8594 E. 116th Street. Smoothie King has a new location at 8890 E. 116th Street. A 239,000 SF apartment building dubbed 1 North is slated for construction at the corner of North and Maple streets in downtown.

Nothing Bundt Cakes is opening a new franchise in the former Painting with a Twist space at 11680 Commercial Drive. Blaze Pizza is moving into a new building on a Target outlot at 11669 Commercial Drive. The City of Fishers is opening its new Indiana IoT (Internet of Things) Lab this summer at 9059 Technology Lane next to founding partner Flexware Innovation.

IT company Knowledge Services plans to build its new 80,000 SF headquarters in 2018 at 11001 USA Parkway. Stratosphere Quality is expanding its headquarters with a 46,000 SF building at 12024 Exit 5 Parkway.

Start-up Communicode moved into Launch Fishers this summer and is connecting nonprofits with tech-savvy volunteers. Verizon is building a new store in Fishers Marketplace at 13638 Bent Grass Lane. Alderman Luxury Imports is opening a new dealership in the remodeled former Ben & Ari’s at 13875 Fishers Trade Center Drive.

Seymour-based Rails Craft Brew & Eatery (photo) opened a Fishers location this spring in the Bonn Building at Saxony Village at 13578 E. 131st Street. The Marsh Supermarket at 12520 E. 116th Street has been purchased by Kroger subsidiary Topvalco. Pizza chain Toppers is opening a new location this fall at 11640 Brooks School Road.

Noblesville:

Lakeview Marina is adding another 5,100 SF to its facility at 20901 N. Hague Road. Three new retail shell buildings totaling more than 17,000 SF are being constructed at 7382 E. 146th Street.

Marsh Supermarket at 17901 River Avenue closed this spring. Universal Blower Pac at 440 Park 32 Drive West is expanding with an 8,900 SF addition. Butterfield Foods (photo) is growing and remodeling space at 615 Westfield Road.

O’Reilly Auto Parts is building a new store at 2000 Conner Street. The Hamilton East Public Library Noblesville branch at SR 37 and Conner Street is planning a full remodel. A new TCC/Verizon store is now open at 17535 Terry Lee Crossing.

The 104,000 SF BorgWarner Indiana Tech Center is under construction at 13909 E. 141st Street. The new facility will eventually consolidate centers currently operating in Anderson and Pendleton. MedScript Long Term Care Pharmacy recently opened at 14460 Getz Road. Koto Steakhouse is coming soon to 13398 Tegler Drive.

The Marsh Supermarket at 14450 Mundy Drive closed this summer. JDS International is expanding its footprint at 15321 Herriman Boulevard with a new 17,000 SF office and warehouse.

WorkOne Hamilton County relocated from Fishers to the Ivy Tech campus in Noblesville.

Westfield:

The new Professional Building at Bridgewater, located at 14801 Market Center Drive, will include a Gilmore Chiropractic office and Motion 4 Life Fitness. Beauty Bar is coming to 14647 N. Gray Road.

All-Star Veterinary Clinic at 789 E. Main Street has undergone a full remodel. The Westfield-Washington Historical Society & Museum has relocated to the north end of City Hall at 130 Penn Street. Mad Duck Outdoor Sports is operating out of the Union at 136 N. Union Street.

Zionsville-based NewPro Containers is planning a new facility at 16460 Southpark Drive. The Regal Cinemas theater redesign will include 12,000 SF of new retail and restaurant space on 146th Street. Marsh Supermarket at 1960 E. Greyhound Pass has closed.

Grand Junction Brewing Company (photo) has added a 10,000 square foot taproom and production facility on 181st Street near Grand Park. Urban Vines, Westfield’s first winery, is open on 161st Street.

Hampton Inn, (photo) the city’s second hotel, is open on Wheeler Road.

NewPro Containers, a distributing company of indoor and outdoor plant containers is relocating from Zionsville, building near the Westfield Business Park.

Northern Hamilton County: 

Morgan Striping Service is expanding its facility at 21789 Riverwood Avenue with construction of a new 12,000 SF building. K-Trails Equestrian Adventures opened in March in Strawtown Koteewi Park at 11949 Koteewi Drive. Indiana American Water has purchased the Town of Sheridan’s water utilities.

Carmel: 

Restaurant Pho Real recently opened at 9611 N. College Avenue. Florida-based Green Circle Health has opened a client services center at 9640 Commerce Drive. Housing not-for-profit HAND has plans for a 10-unit project dubbed Home Place Housing Gardens at 106th and McPherson streets.

The Shoppes at Bennett Farm are slated for construction at 11036 N. Michigan Road and will include a new Moe’s Southwest Grill and Sherwin-Williams store. OrangeTheory Fitness is opening a new center at 4000 W. 106th Street.

Primrose School of WestClay at 13096 Moultrie Street is building a 3,200 SF addition. The new Village Center Shoppes at 12749 Meeting House will include over 7,900 SF of commercial and residential space. 

TradeRev has opened its first U.S. headquarters at 12726 Hamilton Crossing Boulevard. The Indiana Spine Group  facility at 13225 N. Meridian Street is expanding with a 19,500 SF addition. 

The Warehouse music performance hall closed in late January at 254 First Avenue SW. The Nash Building at 836 S. Range Line Road has a new tenant, Software Engineering Professionals

The Monon and Main mixed use development at 211 W. Main Street will include a 52,800 SF structure with dining, retail, and office space. A new sushi restaurant called Main Street Poke is coming to 110 W. Main Street. 

Mi Hacienda is now serving Mexican fare at 819 W. Carmel Drive. Star Financial Bank is planning a new location at 140 E. Carmel Drive. Chocolate for the Spirit closed its storefront at 301 E. Carmel Drive on Christmas Eve, but the space is being redeveloped into a new barber shop.  

Little Eyes Optometry is opening soon at 1372 S. Range Line Road. Indian grocery store Brindavan International Foods recently opened at 1780 E. 116th Street. Glamour Nails at 2166 E. 116th Street has opened a new Wine Bar in the shop. 

Traders Point Christian Church has opened its new North Indy Campus at 1242 W. 136th Street. The Range Pet Lodge at 1045 N. Range Line Road is building a new wing to expand its boarding and training services. Clothing store Torrid opened a new location in Clay Terrace shopping center.

Fishers:  

The Humane Society of Hamilton County has plans to relocate from its current home in Noblesville to a new, much larger facility and property at 106th Street and Hague Road. Allisonville Self Storage is adding another 8,100 SF to its facility at 10986 Allisonville Road. 

Kite Realty Group’s redevelopment of Fishers Station at 116th Street and Allisonville Road will include a 123,000 SF Kroger Marketplace and Jason’s Deli. Brownsburg Mexican restaurant Tequila Sunrise will open a second location in the renovated strip center at 11653 Fishers Station Drive. 

A new AAA office opened in March at 8997 E. 116th Street. Iconic Digital Marketing has moved out of Launch Fishers and into new offices in the Nickel Plate District. ATI Physical Therapy is opening a new office at 11669 Commercial Drive. Stone Tree Studios on Hardwick Drive has reopened after a remodel and upgrade of it recording studio space. 

Chicago-based hotdog eatery Portillo’s is opening its first central Indiana location near the new IKEA at I-69 and 116th Street.  

Harley-Davidson of Indianapolis (photo) is planning to move from its 96th Street location in Carmel to a 3.5-acre lot just north of Reynold’s Farm Equipment at I-69’s Exit 205, where it will build a 43,000 SF dealership. The former Walgreens at 12750 Reynold’s Drive is being converted into a Dollar Tree store. Claude & Annie’s at 9251 E. 141st Street has closed its doors. 

In May, NinjaZone will open its new 5,000 SF location at 116th Street and Olio Road. Indiana Members Credit Union is building a new office at 13220 Olio Road. Body Evolution fitness center is opening at 10430 Olio Road.

Noblesville:  

Broccoli BillsMorse Lake Industrial Park continues to expand with the addition of a new 6,000 SF storage facility on it campus at 20240 Hague Road. Community First Bank of Indiana has opened a new branch in the Pebble Brook Village retail center at 146th Street and Little Chicago Road. Indy juice bar Natural Born Juicers has opened a new location within Broccoli Bill’s at 15009 N. Gray Road. All Care Rheumatology has moved into a former real estate office at 3501 Westfield Road. 

In February, a la cART projects opened a new studio in the loft space above Lil Bloomers Boutique at 982 Logan Street. LittleGypsie Boutique has moved around the corner to 84 S. 9th Street just off the courthouse square. Mobile art studio Caravan Classes has opened a brick-and-mortar location in the same building at 98 S. 9th Street. 

This spring, the new Noblesville Event Center will open at 2350 Conner Street. Hoosier Storage is adding 23,000 SF of storage space its property at 1401 Pleasant Street. 

Hare Chevrolet, located just west of SR 37 on Stony Creek Road, has been sold to Georgia-based Asbury Automotive Group. The Aldi store an 16971 Clover Road is undergoing an expansion. 

Anchor Health Chiropractic is moving into 14300 Mundy Drive in the former Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt space. 

Indiana’s first Duluth Trading Company store opened at the beginning of March at 13890 Cabela Parkway. New American Mattress and Starbucks locations are coming to 12919 Campus Parkway. An 11,000 SF multi-tenant retail building is slated for construction at 13436 Tegler Drive. 

Landscaping business Town & Country Land Works is building a new shop at 17053 Mystic Road. 

Westfield: 

A commercial project dubbed The Commons at Chatham Hills is slated for the northwest corner of US 31 and 191st Street and will include two hotels, several restaurants, a grocery store, and 14 outlots. A mixed use development known as Aurora is planned for 300 acres southeast of US 31 and SR 38, with a business park, retail center, commerce park, and residential area. 

Grand Park Events Center has lost the two restaurants operated by Jonathan Byrd’s, but has gained several other tenants, including NinjaZone, Methodist Sports Medicine, Indiana Soccer Association, and Indiana Sports Properties

Metric Seals is expanding with a 16,000 SF addition to its campus at 17030 Westfield Park Road. The Weathervane Antiques and Home Market is now operating out of a large warehouse space at 17819 Commerce Drive. 

Riverview Health’s new 108,000 SF facility under construction at US 31 and SR 32 has been upgraded to a hospital with the addition of inpatient beds, surgery suites, and an emergency room. Park Street Pub at 515 Park Street closed its doors in January. Jack’s Donuts opened its ninth central Indiana location in February at 17423 Carey Road.

 Primrose School at Bridgewater at 14700 Gray Road is adding almost 3,200 SF to its facility.

Wilkin’s Lawn Care in Arcadia is growing, adding additional equipment storage space to its facility at 2420 Dunbar Road.

Carmel: 

Asian Kitchen & Sushi Bar recently opened at 4000 W. 106th Street just east of Michigan Road. OrangeTheory Fitness is opening a new location in the same strip center in the former Hallmark space. The Target at 10401 N. Michigan Road is undergoing a remodel. In late February, a new Planet Fitness is opening at 2200 W. 116th Street in Merchants’ Square. 

Penn Circle ProjectA 19,600 SF mixed-use project dubbed Penn Circle (see photo) is slated for construction at 12411 Pennsylvania Street. Encore Sotheby’s International Realty is building the structure, which will include local offices for itself and room for additional tenants like Nebraska-based Jet Linx. A new Starbucks is coming to 1420 W. Main Street. 

In January, Huntington Bank closed its Sophia Square branch at 110 W. Main Street. Plainfield clothing store Younique Culture is coming to Carmel with a new retail location at 216 W. Main Street. 

Leena’s Bridal has opened at 731 Hanover Place. Lash & Brow Design Co. held its grand opening in December at the new salon at 301 E. Carmel Drive. Sun King Brewery’s new 15,000 SF craft beer distillery and tap room is slated to open this fall in Carmel’s Midtown. 

AdvisaBusiness consulting firm ADVISA (see photo)has moved into its new offices at 210 N. Range Line Road. Carmel-Clay Public Library has opened its state-of-the-art Digital Media Lab at 23 E. Main Street in Carmel’s Arts and Design District. The Indiana Design Center recently welcomed Surroundings by Natureworks+ as a new tenant. Software Engineering Professionals is opening the new SEP Product Design Studio at 836 S. Range Line Rd.

Local dining favorite Sichuan Restaurant has relocated to 1329 S. Range Line Road, which is the former site of Sansui Japanese Sushi Restaurant. Carmel tech company Cha-Cha closed its doors after a decade of online services. 

Fishers: 

Which Wich has opened a new restaurant in the former Golden Wok space at 8350 E. 96th Street. Fishers-based Win Home Inspection is now doing business throughout Hamilton County. The Sears store on Allisonville Road closed in January. 

Indy-based law firm Cremer & Cremer is opening a new office at 9987 Allisonville Road. Indiana Blood Center is planning a Fishers Donor Center at 11069 Allisonville Road. Jason’s Deli has moved from 12405 N. Meridian Street in Carmel, a property slated for redevelopment, to the former Stacked Pickle location at 11621 Fishers Station Drive. Majestic Foot Spa is moving into 7331 E. 116th Street. 

Pet Palace is coming to Fishers with a new 15,000 SF facility just east of Target at 11696 Fishers Corner Boulevard. (photo-actually a rendering) A 17-acre culinary and restaurant accelerator dubbed The Yard is slated for construction next to the new IKEA store at I-69 and 116th Street. Comcast is closing its call center at 11988 Exit 5 Parkway this spring in a switch to a work-from-home model for its employees.

Big Apple Bagel is opening a new location at 11675 Olio Road where Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt had previously been. A 31,000 SF pet grooming, boarding, and training facility called 4 Paws Lodge is under construction at 11787 E. 131st Street. Brad Brees has opened a new Edward Jones office at 13578 E. 131st Street in Saxony. 

Noblesville: 

Animal Eye Clinic is opening its doors at 14637 N. Gray Road. Blue Butterfly Furnishings & Finds has moved from Carmel to a new location in downtown Noblesville at 164 N. 10th Street. The Wild Bookstore on the courthouse square is remaining open under new ownership. 

A former home at 185 S. 8th Street is being converted to a new community education and gathering place called Kaleidoscope Krossing. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is renovating its thrift store at 1391 Greenfield Avenue. JKL Dental has leased space at 9779 E. 146th Street. Dance studio EnPointe is now open at 15309 Stony Creek Way. 

Restaurant chain Fresh To Order is opening a location in February at 13230 Harrell Parkway in Hamilton Town Center. American Mattress is opening a shop at 12919 Campus Parkway. A new T-Mobile store and Panera Bread Bakery Café are coming to 12873 Campus Parkway. Noire Nail Bar Salon is slated to open at 12831 Campus Parkway. 

Holiday Inn Express and Suites NoblesvilleA new Holiday Inn Express and Suites opened near Exit 210 at 13625 Tegler Drive. Another 13,700 SF multi-tenant retail building is under construction at 13398 Tegler Drive. Metal tool part manufacturer Lapmaster Wolters is moving into 14560 Bergen Boulevard. 

Noblesville’s new 203-acre Finch Creek Park on Boden Road breaks ground this spring and will include a 130,000 SF youth sports complex dubbed The Fieldhouse at Finch Creek

Westfield: 

An existing barn on the new Chatham Hills golf course is being renovated and expanded to create a banquet hall dubbed the Chatham Hills Banquet Barn. A Giving Tree of Hamilton County has relocated to 17338 Westfield Park Road.

The Beauty Mark has opened just east of downtown at 3032 E SR 32. Bridgewater Marketplace at 146th Street & Gray Road is adding another 10,000 SF professional building to the campus. Carmel Eyecare has opened its doors at 2792 E. 146th Street. A CVS pharmacy is slated for construction at 146th Street and Ditch Road. The Aldi at 14620 Greyhound Plaza is undergoing a complete remodel.

Carmel

Body Sculpting Med Spa and restaurant The Lit Moose have recently opened in the Village of WestClay. A St. Vincent Medical Group Internal Medicine office has opened at 14350 N. Meridian St. 18/8 Fine Men’s Salon opens at the end of November in Clay Terrace.

PNC Bank opened a branch inside Market District. La Hacienda restaurant is moving across US 31 to 12480 N. Meridian St. Blanton Hufford & Associates is opening an office at 645 W. Carmel Dr. Accent’ Bicycles is new to Monon Square.

Martin Gallery of Fine Art is now open at the Indiana Design Center. Zeke’s Hot Chicken has closed at 1315 S. Range Line Rd, as has Brides of Carmel at Carmel City Center. The first of several planned Cones Creamery locations is now open at 5790 E. Main St.

Enterprise Rental Car is building a new office at 4400 E. 96th St. Midwest Bankers is moving to 9745 Randall Dr. The former Macaroni Grill at 2375 E. 116th St. is being converted into Indiana’s first Rodizio Grill. New Anytime Fitness and St. Vincent Urgent Care locations are coming to Hazel Dell south of 126th. Smile Centric and Greenwood-based Raelynn’s Boutique are opening new locations at 14560 River Rd.

Fishers Town Center on 116th has lost Pat’s Philly Pretzels but will soon welcome B B Nails and Spa.
